Traditional fellowship circles will blend with outreach opportunities and service activities, as we follow the “C-Groups” Model proposed by the IPHC Women’s Ministries Council. The term “C-Group” is used in reference to the C4 Mission of WM:
CONNECTING women of all ages & cultures through fellowship & service.
CULTIVATING positive relationships that will provide opportunities for discipleship.
CELEBRATING what God is doing in and through women.
CREATING an atmosphere where women can be released into their gifting.
Greenville First will offer four C Group meeting options each month. All ladies are encouraged to attend any that interest them! Let’s join together now as women of faith to strengthen our walk with the Lord and reach out to share His love with the hurting and lost. Please be in prayer about which group(s) God wants you to be a part of.
2nd Monday Morning - Brunch Bible Study Group
Led by Jean Gore, this group of women meets in the church fellowship hall to enjoy a meal, and will then be digging deeper into God’s Word. The group will be collectively deciding what book of the Bible they desire to study this year. If you’re available during lunch time on this one Monday of the month, you’ll be blessed by both the study and the relationships you’ll build with all women in attendance! Come join us!
2nd Monday Evening
This group of women meets in the church fellowship hall to enjoy a meal, and will then be digging deeper into God’s Word. We hope that you are available to join us on this one Monday of the month, you’ll be blessed by both the study and the relationships you’ll build with all women in attendance!
Women’s Ministries also host bi-monthly luncheons for our seniors in the church call Young at Heart. If you grew up with Roy Rogers or if you remember Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, this is the connecting place for you! Please contact Paula England at 252-752-8909 for details!
We want every woman to find her place in Women’s Ministries. We believe in women – their effectiveness in ministry, their influence in the home, and their power in the workplace. Our desire is to encourage every woman in her journey and provide meaningful opportunities for discipleship. If you have any questions about Women’s Ministries you contact our chapter president Penny Phillips at WomensMinistries@GreenvilleFirst.org.
