Jim Gray & Family
Lead Pastor
Jim grew up at the Greenville First Church, leaving for Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia after graduating high school in 1992. There, he met Joanna. They have been married for almost 29 years and have four children: Judah (23) lives in Tampa, Florida; Julianna (22) lives in Fountain Inn, South Carolina with her husband JJ; Jacob (18) and Jennalyn (16) both live at home with Jim and Joanna.
Jim has served in full-time ministry for over 30 years, first as a music minister, and for the last 14 years as a senior pastor. In February of 2023 when Greenville First Church extended the offer for him to return home to pastor our church, Jim readily accepted the offer, believing this to be the ultimate call of God on his life and ministry.
Joanna is a wonderful partner in ministry and has at some point served in or led in almost every ministry in the churches Jim and Joanna have worked from children’s ministries to music ministries to women’s ministries. Joanna teaches K4 at Trinity Christian School in Greenville.
Eddie Breeze
Youth Pastor
Eddie, born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, is a graduate of Liberty University with a Biblical Studies undergraduate degree and a Masters in Pastoral Counseling. Eddie’s passion for ministry is to disciple and equip the next generation to make an impact for the kingdom of God. In his free time, Eddie enjoys going on road trips and playing sports with friends.
Larry Shaw & Family
Worship & Outreach Pastor
Pastor Larry grew up in the Roanoke Rapids area but spent the last 30 years near Columbia, South Carolina. In August 2024, he returned to eastern North Carolina to serve as GFPHC’s Worship & Arts Pastor. With over 30 years of experience in music ministry, he has toured professionally with Southern Gospel groups and led worship in churches and conferences.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bible from Columbia International University and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Biblical Seminary. He and his wife, Alesia, have been happily married for over 25 years and are proud parents to three wonderful children-Bria, Patrick, and Meredith.
June Myers
Children's Ministry Director
June Myers is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, educator, and ministry leader whose life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, and service. Married to Greg Myers for over 40 years, June has built a strong and loving family foundation alongside her husband who pastored faithfully for more than two decades. Together, they raised three wonderful children—Joshua, Joy, and Lura—and are now blessed with five precious grandchildren who bring great joy to their lives.
Throughout the years, June has been actively involved in church ministry. She served as a Sunday School Director for over five years, demonstrating a passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of others. Today, she continues her dedication to ministry as the Children’s Church Director at Greenville First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she leads with heart, purpose, and a deep love for God’s children.
In addition to her ministry work, June is a dedicated educator. She currently teaches high school at Trinity Christian School in Greenville, North Carolina, where she pours into the lives of students both academically and spiritually. With a heart for service and a life rooted in faith, June Myers continues to make a lasting impact in her community, church, and classroom.
Yvette Lewis
Admin Assistant
Yvette was born and raised in Greenville and raised her two daughters here. They now have children of their own and she finds true joy in spending time with Vera, Salem, and now, baby Shepherd.
In addition to her love for God and Family, Yvette is a servant at heart. She is excited for this opportunity and to be a part of The Greenville First Family!
