Wednesday Night @ 6:30 - Downpour Service - NEW!
Welcome to the STORM ministry page! If you’ve gotten this far, it probably means you want to know a little more about what actually goes on in the STORM. Well, for starters, we (The STORM) believe in five-fold ministry: worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry. We try to center everything we do on those five objectives. We have youth church on Sunday Mornings at 10:30 am. This is the same time as the adult service in the sanctuary. We have relevant praise and worship, a message, and ministry time. It is an excellent opportunity for students to encounter God on their terms in a comfortable environment. We have a good time without losing the focus of what coming to church is for.
STORM Chasers is the discipleship component of The STORM. In STORM Chasers, students will study and discuss topics they face on a daily basis. In the course of the discussion, students are also shown how to overcome the obstacles of life. STORM Chasers meet every Sunday Night at 6:00 pm.
Since the STORM began, the members of the ministry have gone on some fun trips, had some cool lock-ins, and generally had a good time. But the whole reason the ministry exists is to help people learn how to be Christians in a world that says it’s ok to believe anything you want and do anything you want as long as you don’t hurt anybody else. Pastor Chris and the STORM team do not believe that theory. They believe there is one true God who loves the world so much He sent His son to die for it. He’s the only thing that is real.

Mission Statement
The STORM is committed to:
• Building character in ourselves
• Standing together in all things
• Helping the hurting
• Reaching the unsaved
STORM Chasers
1. Do you want to know how to be a better Christian?
2. Do you want to how to stay committed to your faith?
3. Do you want to know how your faith should affect your everyday life?
If your answer is “yes” to any of the above questions, STORM Chasers just might be for you.
STORM Chasers is:
An intense discipleship group for student leaders who are tired of cut rate Christianity, who want to blow the lid off the status quo, and demolish the stereotype.
A time of sacrifice
A time of searching
A time of surrender
These are the rules in STORM Chasers:
1. Attend STORM Chaser meetings.
2. Anything that is said in STORM Chasers must never be repeated outside of STORM Chasers. This is a group built on trust and each group member must have the integrity to keep the personal and sensitive information that comes out in STORM Chasers to themselves.
3. No talking whenever someone else is talking.
4. Be respectful to all group members and the leader at all times.
“What kind of stuff do you talk about?”
We cover topics based on discipleship, evangelism, ministry, worship, and fellowship.
“What would I have to do if I wanted to join STORM Chasers?”
This question has a two-part answer. The first is that this group is for those students who want to grow in their Christian faith. While anyone is welcome to attend, only those students who have had a salvation experience with Jesus Christ will be able to formally join the group. This is not intended to discourage anyone from coming, regardless of personal beliefs. This requirement keeps students from becoming embarrassed by entering into a situation for which they are not prepared and feeling like an outcast.
The second part is that a student must fill out a commitment form stating their intention to attend every session of whichever quarterly section they desire to join. This form requires contact info and a statement of why the student wishes to join. This form can be found on the Student Ministry Forms page of the student ministry portion of the website or by clicking here.
STORM Chasers is fun but it is for students who are serious about their faith. If you have any questions that were unanswered here, feel free to email Pastor Chris here.
Category 5
The definition of drama is a state, situation, or series of events involving interesting or intense conflict of forces. Category 5 uses drama to get the word out that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.
STORM Survivors
STORM Survivors is a support team who has been there and done that, willing to do whatever it takes to protect, to serve, and to save.
