Christian spiritual formation is the call of God to aspiring disciples of Jesus Christ. This call is represented in the words of the Apostle Paul as an exercise that takes place in the community of faith, “He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher to train Christians in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church, until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13, The Message).”
Pathway To Purpose is designed to fulfill this mandate the Apostle has left us. Our purpose is to develop the potential of every person for devotion to their purpose in Jesus Christ by defining cause, inspiring commitment and achieving community.
Pathway To Purpose provides an open door to making new friends, to building meaningful relationships and to advancing you in your journey with Jesus Christ. In our lightening-paced, high-tech society, people of all ages need the weekly encouragement of others and the personal challenge of Scripture.

People Sharing Jesus (PM)
Maria McDaniel & Patrick Mills
Let's become a "People Sharing Jesus"! Darrell Robinson will help us become just that through the use of his book, practice, and your stories. We will learn practical ways to share Jesus with others. We will work in partnership with the Holy Spirit in recognizing and taking advantage of everyday sharing op- portunities. Beware, by the end of this quarter, you may have led someone to the Lord! How exciting!
Chapter 29 "Sharpening the Focus" (PM)
Pastor Paul Brafford
Toward the end of Paul’s life, his attention is turned to those upon whom his mantle would fall. He writes to Timothy and Titus to encourage them in the ministry and to give them a more clear understanding concerning how leaders ought “behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” In these short letters, we see the heart of a pastor, the qualifications for church leadership and the issues that bear upon those who care for the flock of God. If there has ever been a day in church history when the office of a bishop is under attack, it is today. Join us, walk in the shoes of two young pastors who have walked with giants of the faith, soak up the advice given them by the greatest church planter off all of church history, and invite the Lord to inspire your hearts to pray with renewed vision for our church leaders.
